Webinar Oct. 25, Thursday: How to Apply to Lead a NATC Workshop

is sponsoring a FREE webinar
on Thursday, October 25, 2018
from 4:30-6:00 pm Pacific

Let Michelle Fujii and Yurika Chiba guide you through the application process for proposing an NATC workshop for 2019.

Women and Taiko is a collective of taiko players focused on gender representation in the taiko community. This workshop is one of several outreach projects intended to expand women’s leadership.

Have you asked these questions while developing your workshop proposal?

What kinds of questions should I try to answer in my workshop proposal? Is my description clear and concise? How do I title my workshop? What is the committee looking for? Who can I ask for feedback?

Michelle and Yurika will host an informal discussion with helpful tips for crafting an informed workshop proposal.

This is not a brainstorming session, so we ask that participants* have at least a workshop title and description. Of course, we can't guarantee that your workshop will be accepted, but we will (time allowing) provide feedback on your draft and help you explore ways of thinking about what you have to offer!

FREE but registration is required at https://tinyurl.com/ybzlw9gg. A Zoom link will be sent once you have registered. The registration deadline is Wednesday, October 24th at noon Pacific.

Not ready to lead?! No problem, observers welcome!*
